LEARY

Leary is located in the eastern most part of Calhoun County. City services include water, sewage and sanitation services. DSL and phone services are also available from Alltel and Verizon. A hardware store, IGA grocery, restaurant, bank, library and other conveniences make Leary a convenient place to live and raise a family. The railroad played a major role in the early development of Leary. It has long been an agricultural supply center for neighboring plantations and farms. Some of the farm services include a peanut mill and pecan farm support.
